How to Customize Costume Colors in Marvel Rivals (and All Supported Skins)

Marvel Rivals already has an impressive lineup of skins for everyone’s favorite superheroes and villains, and now the game’s costume lineup is getting even better with the addition of new color palettes for popular skins. If players own some of the most popular Marvel Rivals skins, they’ll be able to customize their appearance even further with this new update.

While some Marvel Rivals heroes already have color swaps in the form of basic skins — The Fantastic Four have their classic blue costumes, for example — some legendary costumes for certain heroes now have additional color combinations to choose from. The selection of skins that support this feature is currently quite slim, but more costumes will be supported in the future as Marvel Rivals gets more updates.

Has anyone else been humbled by AI in Marvel Rivals? 💀

I thought I’d drop in and practice with Emma Frost (plus to rack up the requirements for the event) and geeeeeeeeez I got absolutely annihilated by the AI. I think a big part of it was the lack of teammates since a lot of people were dropping out if they couldn’t use Emma or Wolverine for objectives, but boy, what a surprisingly overwhelming experience 😅

How to Change Costume Colors in Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals Luna Snow Color Swap

The colors of legendary Marvel Rivals skins can be changed in the Cosmetics tab of the Heroes menu. The color swaps are in the same place where skins are normally equipped.

Only certain Marvel Rivals heroes and costumes support the color swap feature at the time of writing, however, and the roster of supported skins is small. Currently, only Magik’s Punkchild costume, Psylocke’s Vengeance costume, Luna Snow’s Mirae 2099 costume, and Winter Soldier’s Blood Soldier costume are the only skins with alternate color schemes in Marvel Rivals.

More color schemes will come to Marvel Rivals in future patches, but there is currently no information about which heroes will get the color swap treatment next. NetEase appears to be choosing the most popular skins and heroes for the first wave of costume colors, so hopefully players won’t have to wait too long for their favorite Vanguard, Duelist, or Strategist to get some new outfit tweaks.
